Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of work by incorporating a built-in injection body deliverably from a bit opening and conducting the delivery through the use of the pressure of a liquid chemical in the titled method and apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: An outer pipe 1 is communicated with an excavator and a liquid chemical feeder. The passages 2 serve also as passages for cooling water during excavation. The piston portion 5a of the body 5 can slide over a section length L between stoppers 4a and 2d. The body 5 is driven into a bit 4 during excavation; during liquid chemical injection, it is advanced by the length L by the piston action due to the high injection pressure.
