Abstract

PURPOSE: To neutralize cement waste water with high efficiency by supplying CO2 gas from the inner nozzle of a double-tube type mixing agitator to the water supplied from the outer nozzle to cause oscillation swirling flows.
CONSTITUTION: When cement waste water is fed under pressure from outer nozzle 3 of the double-tube type fluid element mixing agitator, and CO2 gas is supplied from inner nozzle 2, the mixture causes swirling flows in oscillator 1. The flows perform powerful agitation while presenting the phenomenon of reversing the swirling direction (oscillation phenomenon). At the time of this mixing agitation, the CO2 gas is converted into fine bubbles to increase the reaction contact interface between the gas and the waste water, so high-speed vapor-liq. mixing is carried out to neutralize the water with CO2 gas in an amount close to the theoretical value. The neutralized water is discharged from discharge pipe 4.
