Abstract

PURPOSE: To exclude liquid to outside in case a pore is produced on an inner or an outer tube and prevent the inner liquid and the outer liquid from being mixed by a method wherein an electrochemically base metal is interposed between the inner and the outer tube.
CONSTITUTION: The double tube type heat exchanger is constituted by providing an interposed material 10, consisting of the electrochemically base metal as compared with metals constituting the inner tube 8 and the outer tube 9, between the inner tube 8 and the outer tube 9. In case the pore 13 such as a pinhole or the like bored on the inner tube 8 or the outer tube 9, the errosion of the hole will never proceed linearly and the interposed material 10 functions as an anode by a battery action between the inner tube 8 or the outer tube 9 and the interposed material 10, therefore, the interposed material 10 is dissolved preferentially as compared with the inner tube 8 and the outer tube 9. Then, the liquid is flowed into cavities in fin sections 14 provided on the outer tube 9 and is moved through the inside of the fin sections 14, thereafter, is discharged from an external exit 15.
