Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a uniform anode oxide film at a high speed on the inside surface of a cylindrical object by inserting a cathode of good electrically conductive pipe or the like having continuously changed surface areas into the cylindrical object, filling electrolyte in the inside and performing electrolysis.
CONSTITUTION: A good electrically conductive pipe 1 or bar is masked by using masking materials 4 or the like in such a manner that the surface area changes continuously in the axial direction. This pipe 1 as cathode is inserted into a cylindrical object 5 and electrolyte is ejected into the object 5 through the fine hole 3 pierced in the cathode pipe. With this object 5 as anode, the electrolyte is filled and circulated in the object 5 by using a suitable device, whereby electrolysis is executed. By this method, the anodic oxidation film having the same thickness as that of the opening part is uniformly formed on the inside surface of the object 5.
