Abstract

PURPOSE: To safely obtain a fixed quantity of an absorbing liquid in a carbon dioxide absorbing tank without touching the absorbing liquid and/or absorbing vapor, by adequately arranging a weighing tank, valves, etc.
CONSTITUTION: When opening a drain valve 10, a carbon dioxide absorbing liquid 12 in an absorbing liquid supply tank 8 is admitted into a weighing tank 5 by gravity. Gas pressure in the weighing tank 5 and the absorbing liquid supply tank 8 is automatically adjusted by means of a connecting pipe 11, and the absorbing liquid 12 fills the weighing tank 5 and rises up to a liquid level of the absorbing liquid 12 in the absorbing liquid supply tank 8 in the connecting pipe 11. If the inner volume of the connecting pipe 11 is sufficiently made little, a fixed quantity of the absorbing liquid 12 can continually be gained in the weighing tank 5. When the drain valve 10 is closed and a drain valve 9 and a gas pressure adjusting valve 7 are opened, the absorbing liquid in the weighing tank 5 is introduced into a carbon dioxide absorbing tank 4.
