Abstract

PURPOSE: To sufficiently reduce the water content of sludge without increasing dehydration time and pressure for sucking and pressurizing by pressing sludge and water-absorbing filter for contact and removing water from sludge by capillary action of the filter.

Water-impregnated filter 10 is wound on the roller 13, and sludge is scraped off by the scrape plate 8 and transferred by the conveyor 9. Water-contained filter 10 may be dried for reuse.
