Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an incineration material feeding device which is capable of inhibiting generation of clinker and increasing combustion efficiency of the incineration material such as EP ash in the bed.
CONSTITUTION: The EP ash supply nozzle 3 is mounted with its setting angle α within the range of approximaterly 15W45° such that the jet thereof faces downwardly and projects into the fluidized bed. The open end of the nozzle is cut flush with the upper edge 9 of a conical porous plate 2, with the opening being formed substantially horizontally. The EP ash 8 carried by air stream is jetted from the nozzle opening toward that portion of the porous plate where the fluid condition is kept most briskly. The jetted EP ash is uniformly diffused by the active movement of the fluid medium and burned. As EP ash is injected into the bed, the areal load (cross-sectional area of the fluidized bed/number of nozzles) of the feed nozzles may be approximately 1.5m2 per nozzle or even smaller than that. The EP ash feed rate into the incinerator is set at around 20W30m/s.
