Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate fear of fire damage of a fire grate regardless of distributing conition of the high-temp. clinker as well as to prevent fluidifying phenomenon due to fine particles by making any part of the grate plate fixed and providing an air jetting nozzle on the side wall.
CONSTITUTION: For the purpose of preventing generation of over-heat zone A formed by high-temp. burning 6b of fine particles, a motionless grate 5a is provided at a part of the grate 5 to function as a non-operational part. An air jetting nozzle 14 is provided around the center of the high-temp. clinker layer from the side wall 10 and the high-temp. clinker 6a in small lumps are blown off toward the central part so as to make the actual thickness 13b of the high-temp. clinker's 6 layer on the grate 5 thinner than the thickness 13a at the central part. Openings on the nozzle 14 shall be located at several points on the both side-walls where particles in small lumps tend particularly to be piled up.
