Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a coal grain supply passage from blocking phenomenon and at the same time to improve the combustion efficiency by a method wherein coal grain supplied by a screw feeder is moved to an open end with a rotary cup burner and dispersed into combustion by the centrifugal force.
CONSTITUTION: Coal grain fed from a fuel feeding port 9 is supplied by a screw feeder 3 through a coal supplying nozzle 1 to a bottom 18 of a rotary cup 4. And the coal grain is moved with a high speed rotation of the rotary cup 4 along an inside circumference surface 19 to an open end 17, from which it is dispersed evenly in the diameter direction. The coal grain dispersed from the open end 17 of the rotary cup in the diameter direction is further curshed finely by the injection energy of the primary air 10. This method can prevent a blocking phenomenon at the supplying passage coming out is supplying the condensable coal grain, and moreover improve a combustion efficiency because of good mixing of the coal grain with air for combustion.
