Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a COM (a mixed fuel of coal with oil) having improved stability without uneven mixing by the dry method at a low cost, by mixing a fine pulverized coal with an oil and a stabilizer in an ejector type COM preparing apparatus and a transporting machine, and transporting the resultant mixture.
CONSTITUTION: A coal is fed from a coal hopper 1 into a pulverizing and drying machine 4 and pulverized and dried to give a fine pulverized coal, which is then sent through a coal feeder 11 to an ejector type COM (a mixed fuel of coal with oil) preparing and transporting machine 13. An oil is simultaneously fed from an oil tank 14 through an oil feed nozzle 33 before a diffuser 35 to the COM preparing and transporting machine 13 by an oil transfer pump 16, and a stabilizer is fed from a stabilizer tank 17 through a stabilizer feed nozzle 34 to the COM preparing and transporting machine 13 by a pump 19. Thus, the coal is simultaneously mixed with the oil and stabilizer to give the aimed COM. The resultant COM is fed through a transporting pipe 20 to a storage tank 21.
