Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to supply fuel to a float chamber by one starting, by providing a fuel cock which is opened and closed by the suction negative pressure between a fuel tank and the float chamber of a carburetor and at the same time providing a shock absorbing chamber which delays the closing operation inside this cock.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel tank 11a and a float chamber (not shown) are connected by path 40. This path 40 is provided with fuel path valve 22a fixed to diaphragm 35. Diaphragm 35 forms negative pressure chamber 36. The suction negative pressure is drawn into this chamber 36 via negative pressure pipe 41. Above diaphragm 35 is placed No.2 diaphragm 38, and shock absorbing chamber 29 is placed between them. Chamber 29 is connected to path 40 by means of orifice 34 and check valve 33. By the downward movement of diaphragm 35, fuel is drawn into chamber 29, and by its upward movement, the delayed discharge of fuel is actuated.
