Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the simple and high-accuracy phase decision for the signals by giving the phase correction to the equalization residue signal based on the follow-up phase and then the correction is given to the 1st complex tap coefficient to control the follow-up ohase and thus to decrease the phase difference between the equalization output signal and the decision complex signal. CONSTITUTION:The equalization output signal is produced with the differential component of the signal component obtained by giving the phase correction to the output signal of arithmetic circuit 1 based on the follow-up phase and the output signal of arithmetic circuit 6. Then compound circuit 25 generates the phase-corrected correction signal to the equalization output signal, and the correction signal is decided through decision circuit 8 to obtain the complex signal. Subtractor circuit 9 compares the decision signal with the equalization signal to obtain the equalization residue signal. And the correction is given to the 2nd complex tap coefficient, and the phase correction is given to the equalization residue signal via phase reverse correction circuit 10 and based on the follow-up phase to give the correction to the 1st complex tap coefficient. And then the follow-up phase is controlled to decrease the phase difference between the equalization output signal and the decision complex signal. As a result, the simple and high-accuracy phase decision is secured for the signals.
