Thus the output sent from preset circuit 100 is supplied to unit 1, and the count value reaches the preset value of 8 digits decided at circuits 100 and 200. In case change-over switches 103 and 104 are formed into the multi-step type, the output of circuit 100 is supplied to unit 1. At the same time, the count input is supplied to terminal 11 of unit 2, and thus units 1 and 2 count one count signal in parallel and simultaneously.
