Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a flip-flop circuit using one unit of the relay. CONSTITUTION:With arrival of the first pulse, contact p<1> is switched and the discharging current of capacitor C1 passed through diode D1 flows to primary winding I. Thus relay X operates to switch contact x<1>, ensuring the self-supporting. When the second pulse arrives, released contacts p<1> and p<2> switch. And capacitor C2 is charged with the current flowing through secondary winding II of relay X and contact p<2>. This charging current generates at winding II the magnetic flux to offset the magnetic flux caused by the holding current of winding I since both windings I and II are coiled in balance. As a result, relay X and then contacts x<1> and x<2> are released. With disappearance of the second pulse, contacts p<1> and p<2> are released with the circuit returned to the original state.
