Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain small size, reliable power source circuit for the releae of leakage circuit breaker, by providing a capacitor then driving the release relay by the discharging current of the capacitor thereby voltage dividing the power source circuit through small capacity high resistor.
CONSTITUTION: Unballanced detection line H current induces secondary output on zero phase current transformer ZCT and turns a switching element SCR on to drive release relay R, then leakage circuit breaker for opening the breaking sections S1, S2 of load circuit L connects the capacitor C1 to the power source E for relay circuit thus to supply the driving energy for low sensitioity release relay R from discharging current of capacitor C1. Consequently output impedance Z1 becomes higher than relay coil impedance Zr, thus the power source circuit can be voltage divided through high resistor resulting in small size, highly reliable power source circuit for the release of leakage circuit breaker.
