Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a switch, by which the earth current is flowed, low-dielectric strength and make the switch small size to quicken the response, by utilizing a transformer to generate a zero-phase current. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding of a transformer 10 is connected between one of three phases of a distribution line 3 and the earth, and a switch 11 and a capacitor 12 are connected in series between terminals of the secondary winding of the transformer 10. Otherwise, the primary winding of the transformer 10 is connected between one of three phases of the distribution line 3 and the earth through a capacitor 13, and the switch 11 or the switch 11 and the capacitor 12 are connected between terminals of the secondary winding of the transformer 10. The magnitude of an earth current (i) is controlled by switching the switch 11 in accordance with a signal to generate a zero-phase current.
