Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately bisect light quantity with the simple constitution by opposing the flat-plate-form members which form reflecting surfaces and disposing a half-mirror therebetween parallel to the reflecting faces.
CONSTITUTION: Flat-plate-form members 1, 2 are so disposed that their reflecting faces 11, 21 oppose to each other. A half mirror 3 is installed between the faces 11, 21 parallel to the faces 11, 12. The luminous flux incident to this mirror 3 through a through-hole 12 reiterates the transmission by the mirror 3 and the reflection by the faces 11, 21, goes through the symmetrical optical paths and emits from through- holes 47, 48 by becoming bisected luminous fluxes without being affected by reflectance, transmittance, scattering rate, etc. Hence, the light quantity may be accurately bisected irrespective of wavelengths, etc. with the simple constitution.
