Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the hardness high and also to improve the toughness and moreover, to enable to be shortened the tool exchange time and to be reduced the tool regrinding expense, by irradiating a high energy density heat source on the surface of high speed steel tool after carrying out hardening and tempering treatment and carrying out rapid heating and self cooling. CONSTITUTION:The support 3 is fixed standing on the clamp jig base 2 fixed on the table 1 movable in before and behind, left and right direction. By the above method, abrasion resisting property of the tool is increase 60-100% because hardness of the tool is risen 2-8 HRC scale.
