PURPOSE:To heighten the utilization efficiency of CaC2 at the time of carrying out desulfurization reaction and to make slag removing after desulfurization treatment easy, by blowing CaC2 together with carrier gas after blowing an annex mainly composed of quicklime or/and calcined dolomite and carbon on the surface of molten pig iron. CONSTITUTION:CaO or/and calcined dolomite and carbon, are blown together with N2 gas (carrier gas) in molten pig iron floating molten slag through the lance pipe. As a result of it, carbon is dispersed in the slag surface of the molten pig iron is covered by produced massive slag having 200mm or less of grain diameter.
