Abstract

PURPOSE: To continuously concentrate sea water, by heating the sea water introducing in evaporation room and returning to water by forcibly blowing generated steam in fresh water tank and then, repeating heating of evaporation room by discharged heat.
CONSTITUTION: Fresh water is filled up in the tank 10 and steam is blown in the tank 1 through the blowing tube 11 shutting the valve 33. Thereupon, the steam is reduced to water and the fresh water is heated. Then, a suitable quantity of sea water is introduced in the evaporation room 4 from the introducing tube 7 and the sea water is heated by the heat transfer wall 9 and the glass plate 3. On the one hand, pressure of the room 4 is reduced by opening the valve 33 and absorbing the steam from the exhaust pipe 6 and the steam is boiled at a low temperature and then, evaporation is accelerated. Also, because of returning the above steam to water by blowing the fresh water into the tank 10, the water in the tank 10 is increased and pressure is increased and then, a fixed head pressure is produced by pushing up the drain pipe 15 through the exhaust pipe 14. As a result of it, pressure in the tank 10 is made the same to the head pressure and temperature of the water is made high. Then, heat exchange of the sea water in the room 4 with the above high temperature water, is repeated concentrating the sea water and the above water is carried to the next process discharging from the discharge tube 38 continuously.
