Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a system of a laundry plant for saving heat energy ane water, wherein heat of a rinse effluent from a second rinsing stage is exchanged with heat of warm washing effluents from a washing stage and/or a first rinsing stage to warm the rinse effluent, thereby allowing the rinse effluent to be used again for washing.
CONSTITUTION: A warm washing effluent (generally having a temperature of about 80°C) discharged from a washing stage 1 and/or a warm washing effluent (generally having a temperature of about 50°C) discharged from a first rinsing stage 2 are introduced into one end or a higher temperature side of a heat exchanger 3, and a rinse effluent discharged from a second rinsing stage 4 is introduced into the other end or a lower temperature side of the heat exchanger 3, so that the above-mentioned rinse effluent is warmed to 30°CW40°C by heat exchange. Then the warmed rinse effluent is further subjected to heat exchange at an effluent heat recovering exchanger 6 with a hot effluent gas of a steam generating boiler 5 to obtain a hot washing water having a temperature above 80°C for the washing stage.
