Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the starting effect of engine by making an auxiliary piston come in contact with the timer piston that determines the injection timing of the fuel injection pump, by shifting the timer piston forcibly when the engine is started, and by leading the injection timing automatically.
CONSTITUTION: The timer piston 22 that determines the injection timing is provided to the fuel injection pump not shown in Figure, and this piston 22 is connected to the roller holder 9 linked to the plunger not shown in Figure which regulates the injection quantity of fuel. The auxiliary piston 28 that is pushed by the spring 33 is in contact with the piston 22, the fuel can be fed by the electromagnetic pump 34 from the tank 1 to the oil chamber 32. When started, the pump 34 is driven by turning on the starter switch 38, compressed fuel is introduced into the oil chamber 32 through the pipe 35, the piston 22 is moved leftwards, the fuel injection timing is temporarily led.
