USE: Useful as a treating medicine for acute pancreatitis or as an antiplasmin agent for hemorrhagic diseases, having a strong inhibitory action on protease trypsin or plasmin.
PROCESS: An acid addition salt of a compound of formula II: (X is halogen) is reacted with a compound of formula III to give the objective compound of formula I.
