Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a mixture feeding system of internal combustion engine, which is capable of controlling to supply an appropriate amount of air to rotary engine, by providing a pressure control valve whose opening is controlled depending on the pressure difference on the upstream side and the downstream side of throttle valve in an air intake passage for feeding only air to the rotary engine.
CONSTITUTION: Suction pipe 2 for feeding mixture to peripheral port and suction pipe 3 for feeding only air to side port are both connected to rotary engine 1. Throttle valves 10, 13 controlled simultaneously are provided respectively in the above two suction pipes 3 and 2, and a pressure control valve 9 is provided additionally in the suction pipe 3. This pressure control valve 9 is connedted to a vacuum-operated servo-mechanism 37. Pressure difference on the upstream side and the downstream side of the throttle valves 10, 13 is transmitted to pressure comparing means 40 including two diaphragms 22, 26, so that valve body 30 is moved to open and close atmospheric port 32 or vacuum port 44 depending on the pressure difference. Resultantly, vacuum level in vacuum chamber 5 of servo-mechanism 37 is varied to accomplish proper control for the opening of the pressure control valve 9.
