Abstract

PURPOSE:To supply dissolved oxygen-containing liquid to aeration tank, etc., by improving greatly the dissolution efficiency of oxygen in liquid by utilizing an ejector vapor-liquid contacting means effectively. CONSTITUTION:The straight tube ejector 2 for the introduction of gas is arranged radially in the periphery of the pipe 1 and the enclosed space 9 for the introduction or production of pressurized water is formed. And, the annular pipe 1 is provided with the gas-introducing conduit 6. Pressurized water flows into the enclosed space 9 through the connection tube 11 for jet stream to become water jet in the ejector 2 by which air or oxygen introduced through the small hole 3 from the annular pipe is sucked up at a throat portion and then enters the aeration tank to supply oxygen to activated sludge.
