Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide desired ground foundation durability by retaining slime at the bottom of an excavated hole without removing the slime, pressing the slime thereat to allow the slime to endure the same pile supporting strength as subsoil, and further pressing the subsoil at the bottom being loosened by the excavation of the hole.
CONSTITUTION: Into an underground hole 12 filled by stabilizing liquid 10 is inserted a tubular member 14 to become a pile so mounted at the end as to separate a shoe block 16 therefrom. The liquid 10 in the hole 12 surrounding the member 14 externally is solidified. Vertical load is applied to the block 16 of the member 14 to press the slime 22 accumulated on the hole bottom. The hole bottom subsoil is also pressed by selecting the vertical load. Then, solidifying material 24 is filled on the block 16 at the lower portion of the member 14 to thereby obtain desired subsoil supporting strength under tha pile.
