Abstract

PURPOSE: A process wherein slime is not removed but allowed to remain in the bottom portion of an excavated hole and is densely solidified to be imparted with the same pile-supporting force as the ground, and the ground at the bottom of the hole softened by excavation can also be densely solidified.
CONSTITUTION: A hole 12 is excavated in the ground by use of a stabilizing liquid 10, a both-end-open tubular member 14 such as a steel pipe pile is inserted in the hole 12, and the liquid 10 present in the exterior of the member 14 is solidified in the hole 12. The interior of the member 14 is partitioned at a plane above the lower end 14a of the member 14, and a solidifier is pressure charged into the partitioned section 20 surrounding the slime 18 piled on the hole bottom 16 so as to densely solidify the slime 18.
