Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high dielectric strength for the microstrip line, by providing the dielectric substnace film on the dielectric board on and near the center conductor in strip shape. CONSTITUTION:The dielectric substance film 4 is provided on the dielectric substance board 2 on and near the center conductor 3 in strip shape. As the dielectric film 4, epoxy resin, or glass in case of ceramic board, is used. With this constitution, the electric field between the center conductor 3 and the ground conductor 1 is almost concentrated between the dielectric substance film 4 and the dielectric substance board 2. Accordingly, the permissible transmission force can be determined with the insulation break down voltage of dielectric substance material used for the film 4 and the board 2, and greater permissible transmission power can be obtained in comparison with conventional microstrip lines. Thus, high dielectric strength can be achieved for this microstrip line.
