Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the filter which has strong mechanical strength, is easy for assembling, and is stable for the electric characteristics, by providing the insulators over the entire region of low and high impedance lines. CONSTITUTION:A low pass filter consists of a center conductor 1, external conductor 2 and insulator 31, to obtain a low impedance section (a) and high impedance line section (b) with the ratio of size of conductors 1 and 2. Further, the insulator 31 is used over the lines (a) and (b). With this constitution, the number of the insulator 31 is made less to make easy the manufacture, and the mechanical strength is remarkably improved and the electric characteristics are made stable.
