Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a rotary compressor, in which a liquid injection conduit is connected to an outlet circuit located outside of a cylindrical compression chamber such that it has a suction effect of ejector, whereby it is enabled to prevent increasing of input without making influence of the liquid injection conduit to the compression chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Cooling medium discharged from rotary compression element constituting cylinder 7 after adiabatic compression therein is passed through electric driving element 3 via silencing chamber 18 and outlet passage 19 and is liquefied through condensation in an external condenser. From the external condenser, liquefied cooling medium is circulated to other external cooling circuit. A portion of the liquefied cooling medium is drawn out from liquid injection conduit 22 at throttle 21 of the outlet passage 19 in cylinder 7 by the function of ejector by the cooling medium discharged from silencing chamber 18 and evaporated in outlet passage 19. The coolant gas thus obtained is cooled by the latent heat of evaporation and is used for cooling the electric driving element 3. Thereafter, it is circulated to the external cooling circuit.
