Abstract
The appts. comprises a housing having a variable refrigeration system that includes a heat emitter, a heat absorber, positioned around the housing above the heat emitter, and a compressor which has its outlet and inlet sides respectively connected to the heat emitter and absorber. The heat emitter comprises compressed refrigerant condensing coils which discharge in series to the heat absorber and a by-pass system connected in parallel to the absorber. The by-pass system includes a valve actuable at a pre-selected pressure of refrigerant discharging from the absorber. Used in solvent cleaning of work objects. The system can start without supplemental heat. Uniform temps. are maintained and that within the condenser unit is low enough not to decompose the solvent. Continuous automatic balance is provided.
