Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the apparatus of high reliability which performs capturing continuously and does not require any scraper by aggregating sublimable gas to particle form and recovering the particles with a recovery device which is held vacuum.
CONSTITUTION: The mixed fluid of particles and gas being pressure fed from an injection pump 1 is admitted into a capturing vessel 5 through its inlet port 6. The mixed fluid impinges upon a baffle plate 9 and separates to particles and gas. The particles fall down to the lower part of the vessel and the gas which is not sublimable is exhausted from an exhaust port 7 through an exhaust valve 14. In the case of recovering the sublimable particles captured in the capturing vessel 5, the recovery chamber 11a of the recovery device 11 is held in a vacuum state, after which a recovery valve 10 is opened. The sublimable particles in the capturing vessel 5 are induced into the recovery chamber 11a by gravity and pressure differences. The sublimable particles are liquefied or gassified by being heated with a heat exchanger 13 through which heating medium passes, thus they are recovered into the recovery vessel through a valve 15.
