Abstract

PURPOSE: To construct an efficient ozonizer of large capacity in proportion to its vol. by alternately arranging through holes communicating to refrigerant cavities of electrodes and through holes not communicating to such cavities and by piling up the electrodes alternately as high voltage elctrodes and grounded electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant such as water fed along axial line A1 is fed into electrodes 11, 13 from through holes 3 to fill cavities 2, and it is discharged along axial line A2 after cooling the electrodes, thus forming refrigerant system A. A refrigerant fed along axial line B1 is fed into electrodes 12, 14 to fill cavities 2, and it is discharged along axial line B2 after cooling the electordes, thus forming refrigrant system B. Systems A, B separately cool the high voltage electrodes and the egrounded electrodes alternately arranged. The gap of each hole 3 between the electrodes is hermetically sealed with a sealing gasket in place of a connection pipe. Since both the high voltage electrodes and the grounded electrodes are cooled, very high ozonization efficiency is attained.
