Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain this suction and exhaust device taht is simple in structure, can easily be manufactured, is excellent in gas seal properties and the loss of fuel is little. CONSTITUTION:This rotary engine is formed in such a manner that a rotor 3 with an external shape that two circular arcs are combined is housed in a casing consisting of a main casing 1 and a side casing 2, and the rotor 3 is revolved in a shape that the both ends are inscribed on an inner circumferential surface 6 of the main casing 1 while reciprocating the rotor along a guide groove 5 shaving installed to the rotor 3 on an output shaft 4. In this case, the engine is provided with this suction and exhaust device manufactured to ensure that a suction port 7 and an exhaust port 8 mounted to the side casing 2 are opened and closed by means of rotary valves 9, 9 buried in a wall surface of the side casing 2 so that the one portion be located at positions in the inner circumferential surface 6. This constitution can remarkably improve gas seal properties, and can decrease the loss of fuel.
