The rotary valve body 5 is turned to open or close the exhaust port 2 and the intake port 3 so that the rotary valve functions as an exhaust and an intake valves. Seals 6-1-6-4 are provided in order to prevent fuel gas 6 and combustion gas 6 to flowing out. The rotary valve body 5 is driven by a pinion 7. Since no spring is used to control the valve 5, special motive power for spring compression is not needed. For that reason, the valve 5 with no casing can be provided.
