Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish effective recovery of waste heat from the exhaust gas preventing deterioration in the fluidization as the fluid medium in the fluidized bed grows sticky, while preventing scale attachment to and corrosion of dust removing/ heat recovering system by the exhaust gas from the incinerator.
CONSTITUTION: Night soil fed into a fluidized bed type incinerator 1 from a feed conduit 6 is evaporated, dried and burned in contact with a hot air and a fluid medium. Combustion gas coming from a fluidized bed 5 is further heated up to a high temperature with a reheating burner 8 provided in the upper deodorizing area 9 to deodorize. A cooling air conduit 11 is connected to an exhaust gas conduit 10 from the incinerator 1 so that the exhaust gas sent out of the upper portion of the incinerator 1 is cooled down to such a temperature as to cause no trouble such as attachment of scale or the like. The exhaust gas thus cooled passes through a dust remover 7 and then discharged from a stack 15 after waste heat is recovered by a heat exchanger 13. On the other hand, air to be supplied to the burner 8, the hot air generation furnace 2 and the air conduit 4 is preheated by the heat exchanger 13.
