Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish efficient burning of raw night soil with a fluidized bed type incinerator by maintaining the temperature of the fluidized bed at 350W550°C.
CONSTITUTION: Air fed from a fluidizing air conduit 4 keeps a fluid medium, previously charged into a fluidized bed of a fluidized bed type incinerator 1 at a fluidized state. On the other hand, a hot air produced in a hot air generation furnace 2 is introduced into a fluidized bed 5 to heat the fluid medium up to 350W550°C. Night soil sent into the incinerator 1 from a night soil feed conduit 6 is evaporated, dried and burned in contact with the hot air and the fluid medium. Combustion gas sent out of the fluidized bed 5 is delivered from the incinerator 1, screened by a partition and after passing through a dust remover 8, sent into a deororizing furnace 10 via a heat exchanger. In the furnace, it is heated up to a high temperature with a burner 9 to deodorize. In this manner, exhaust gas delivered from the furnace 10 is discharged from a stack 14 after waste heat is recovered by a heat exchanger 12.
