Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a measured value with high precision under no influence of variation in ambient temperature by forming either one of diaphragms of a conventional pressure measuing instrument in a wave shape and then by providing a pipe and interval cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: External cylinder 24 with bottom 22 is provided with pipe 32, interval cylinder 33, insulator 39, reference electrode plate 44, cradle plate 49 compressed by plate spring 45, and wave-shaped diaphragm 50 by airtight sealing by welding. Insulator 39 is provided with electrodes 36A and 36B of metal foil and pressure measuring diaphragm 30 and reference electrode plate 44 are held at a fixed interval depending upon the size of interval cylinder 33. Pressure to be measured is applied to both diaphragms and operates on both the right and left through a through hole and insulating solution. From variation in capacitor value between measuring diaphragm 30 and electrode 36A, pressure can be found. Through the operation of wave-shaped diaphragm 50, no measured-value error is caused by variation in temperature and deterioration in accuracy due to friction around diaphragm 30 and permanent deformation never occurs.
