Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the construction simple and prevent measurement errors occuring in the thermal stress from the body by mounting a strain detecting element having a hermetic space in its inside not directly to the pressure transducer body but through a strain detecting element fixing member.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid pressure is exerted to a seal diaphragm 4 and is transmitted to a diaphragm part 50 through sealing liquid 8. The fluid pressure is then measured by the strain generated in the diaphragm part 50 owing to the difference between this fluid pressure and the atmospheric pressure in the hermetic space 54 of the strain detecting element. This enables the construction of the pressure transducer simple. In addition, the strain detecting element composed of silicon is mounted not directly to the body but through a strain detecting element fixing member 61 composed of alumina ceramics and therefore the production of measurement errors occuring in the thermal stress from the body may be prevented.
