Abstract

PURPOSE: In the transcription printing through a water soluble high molecular thin film floated on water surface, to prevent the circumferential portion from curling and to effect the beautiful transcription print by using the thin film having the heat treated circumferential portion in narrow width.
CONSTITUTION: Herein used is a water soluble high molecular thin film with the thickness of 0.01W0.1mm, prefarably polyvinyl-alkohol resin with the mean polymerization degree of 3000W30000 and the mean saponification rate of 65W97mol%. Circumferential portion of the thin film is heat treated at the temperature of 80W 250°C in narrow width. When floating thus obtained thin film on water surface with the printing surface in upwards, the film is spread over lengthwise and breadthwise uniformly without any furrow and any curl at the circumferential portion. This effects the beautiful print on the material even with the complicated uneven surface.
