Abstract
PURPOSE:To labor-save the step of detecting bottles and improve the detecting accuracy by detecting chemically irradiated light produced from retrieved bottle to be inspected to thereby mechanically detect and remove oil polluted bottle existing in the retrieved bottles. CONSTITUTION:Chemically irradiated light from oil adhered onto oil polluted bottle existing in bottles to be inspected is detected to remove the oil polluted bottle in the bottles to be inspected by the detection signal. Since the used bottle for food oil, for example, chemically irradiates weak chemical light by the oxidation reaction by the air in the food oil adhered onto the bottle, when the oil polluted bottle is supplied from the bottle supply unit 1, the chemical light is detected by a detector 6 provided at the dark chamber 3. This signal from the detector 6 is converted to an exhaust signal is a signal processor 7 to exhaust the oil polluted bottle to exhaust unit 8 by a sorter 4. Since the chemical light is extremely weak, it, for example, employs a light electron counting system.
