Abstract

PURPOSE: To let solution evaporate and concentrate the components in the solution through efficient use of solar heat and black color fibers by letting the solution to be evaporated penetrate in the black color fiber layer and exposing this to sunlight.
CONSTITUTION: Long or short fibers of black color fibers such as active carbon fibers, etc. having no corrosiveness and having durability are mixed to make a layer such as non-woven fabric mat or the like. The solution to be evaporated such as salt water, starch water or other is filled in the spacing 4 and black color fiber layer 3 through pipe 5 and this is exposed to sunlight to heat the black color fiber layer 3. This results in not only absorption of solar heat in the black color fiber layer 3 but also capturing and absorbing of secondary radiation by the fibers with each other. Hence, the solution to be evaporated is evaporated by energy and the vapors condense on the inside surface of the transparent plate 2 of the ceiling part. The condensate is collected in a trough 6, and in the meantime the concentrated solution is drawn out through a pipe 9.
