Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the title compound useful as a synthetic reagent of medicines and pesticides, economically in an industrial scale, by reacting a disiloxane with a diorganodihalogenosilane in the presence of 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone or its salt.
CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula III (X is halogen) is prepared by reacting (A) a disiloxane of formula I (R is H or hydrocarbon) with (B) a diorganodihalogenosilane in the presence of (C) 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone of formula II or its hydrochloride, at 0W200°C.
EFFECT: The objective compound can be prepared extremely safely, economically, in high yield.
