Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A pyridylsulfilimine shown by the formula (R is halogen, 1W5C alkyl, or alkoxy).
EXAMPLE: 2-Pyridyl-o-tolyl-sulfilimine.
USE: A raw material important in the field of organic synthesis, having carcinostatic effect.
PROCESS: A corresponding sulfide is reacted with chloramine T in a solvent to give an N-tosyl-pyridylsulfilimine derivative, which is treated with conc. sulfuric acid and detosylated to give a compound shown by the formula.
