Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula I [X is divalent aliphatic chain, xylylene; Y and Y' are H, alkyl, group of formula III (R is H, alkyl; R3 is H, alkyl; m is 0W3), group of formula III, group of formula IV (R1 is H, alkyl, alkenl) where Y is equal to Y' but not H; Z is alkyl, halogenoalkyl, cycloalkyyl].
EXAMPLE: N-( 2,3-Dihydroxypropyl ) ethylene-N,N'-bis( dithiocarbamoylethoxycarbonyl-methylene).
USE: Agricualtural and industial chemical: they cause no pollution and show high a ctivity of controlling pests.
PREPARATION: An N-substituted polydithiocarbamic acid soluble salt of formula V (M is the doluble salt part) is made to react with a halide of formula, Z-R' (R' is halogen) such as methyl chloride in a solvent such as pyridine or methanol at 0W 70°C to give the compound of formula I.
