Abstract

PURPOSE: To correct a stop position accurately by detecting the occurrence of slip by pulse rate method, performing positively acceleration/deceleration control based on the result thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A counter 9 feeds into the output pulse of pulse generator equivalent to the roller rotation length to count. A time counting circuit 10 counts the time where the material is passing between the material detection circuit 10. The output of counter 9, the output of time counting circuit 10 and the length L between material detectors are fed into the arithmetic unit 11, permitting to compute the variable rate of moving length and the variable rate of length. The result of computation thereof is taken into the process unit 12. The process unit executes the comparision of both results, making the presence of slip decide, and allowing to give a speed correction to eliminate a slip.
