Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the impregnation work of washing balls without much manual handlings by a mechanism wherein a vacuum condition is generated at the time when water contained in a recovery vessel is drawn out by utilizing water head difference, and impregnation of washing sponge balls is performed.
CONSTITUTION: Intake valve 8, exit valve 12 and water discharge valve 15 of the recovery vessel 9 are closed, water is induced from the water supply pipe 16, and the recovery vessel is filled with water by drawing out air from the vent 17. Then, the water supply valve 18 and the air vent are closed, and water is discharged from the recovery vessel by opening water discharge valve, however, during this procedure, because of the water head difference, inside of the recovery vessel is rendered vacuum caused by the jet which the water makes while it is being jettisoned, and subsequently, air contained within the sponge balls is drawn out. Impregnation of sponge balls with water is then simply performed by closing the discharge valve and filling the vessel with water from the water supply pipe, on account of the absence of air inside of the sponge balls.
