Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep a cylindrical net screen clean all the time by a method in which dust adhered to the net screen is automatically removed by water jetted from nozzles rotating inside. CONSTITUTION:Opening and closing parts 33 set between cylindrical net screens 13 and a pump 5 are operated by biasing their phases in such a way that at least one of the parts 33 is opened during the operation of the pump 5, and the pump 5 serves to take in water all the time through the screens 13. Nozzles 22 for cleaning the screens 13 are set in the face of the inner surface of the screen 13, through which water is jetted over the whole length in the axial direction of the screen 13. Dust adhered to the screens 13 can thus be automatically removed to keep the screens 13 clean all the time.
