Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate separator for diphase flow and to produce flow of supersonic speed easily and with high efficiency, by fitting curved flow duct made by insertion of bullhead plate at throat portion of nozzle of total flow turbine.
CONSTITUTION: Connect to taper spread end of nozzle 10, via connection duct 12, triangle cone 11 which jets mixture including small water drops against rotor vanes of turbine 8, and connect to rear throttle end 13 of nozzle 10, S-shaped flow duct 14. Provide bullhead plates 17, 18 at inside wall of curved portions 15, 16 of duct 14, respectively. When diphase flow of saturated gas and saturated steam flows in from opening 19, they are separated at curved portion 15, 16 by effect of centrifugal force; water, then, flows via saturated water passage 20, 21 and almost steam only passes center of duct 14.
