Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable water content in steam to be suppressed low by providing in a shroud an annular groove for collecting water drops and a drain port for discharging water content, in order to introduce securely water drops collected in a tip of a driving blade into a steam-water separator chamber.
CONSTITUTION: An annular groove 19 is provided in a position opposed to a steam-water separating groove 13 on the inner peripheray surface of a shroud 18 arranged in the outer periphery of a driving blade 11, and an annular groove 20 is provided in the rear end of the driving blade 11 while drain ports 21, 22 are respectively provided in the outer periphery of the respective annular grooves 19, 20. Steam-water separator chambers 15a, 15b are provided in positions of a nozzle diaphragm 14 corresponding to the drain parts 21, 22 through an end gap 17 of the rotary blade. Water drops attached to the inlet of the rotary blade 11 are advanced along the steam-water separating groove 13 in the direction of arrow C and collected in the annular groove 19 to be introduced securely into a steam-water separator chamber 15a through the drain port 21. Also, water drops flowing along the rear edge of the driving blade 11 advance in the direction of the arrow D and are collected in the annular groove 20 to be introduced into a steam-water separator 15b through the drain port 22 so that the amount of water drops flowing into the rear stage is minimized.
